Dusty at the Table · Readings
Start with the situation.
The spread follows.
Seven established readings, each built for a different kind of problem: choices, pressure, friction, repeating patterns, conflict, identity, recovery and major crossroads.
You do not need to choose a deck or work out which method you need. Pick the reading that most closely matches what is happening. I use the structure that belongs to it and work from there.
Tarot de Marseille sits at the centre of the practice. Other tools may be introduced where they genuinely add something useful, but they are never added merely for decoration.
I can also arrange a custom reading, including some older services that are not part of the current menu. If there is something specific you would like, contact me and I can let you know what I can offer, how it would work and the price.
Formats and prices
Three ways to work the matter.
The shorter readings are focused and recorded. The longer readings are live and give us room to work through a larger pattern as it develops.
One pressure point.
A concise recorded reading for a specific question, immediate choice or sharply defined issue. Personally recorded and delivered privately by email as an MP3.
£25One layered situation.
A fuller recorded reading for a matter with several moving parts. Personally prepared and sent privately by email as an MP3.
£40A larger pattern or threshold.
A private one-to-one Zoom reading by appointment. This format is used for the deeper spreads where context, response and development matter.
£70Each reading has a fixed main spread. Clarifier cards may be drawn where they genuinely help, but they are not guaranteed extra positions and they are not added simply to make a spread larger.
Where a reading is available in more than one session length, you can select the length you want at checkout.
Each reading below explains what it is best for and what it explores. Use View the spread to see the exact card positions and what each position is designed to examine.
The Ticket Booth
For the point just before you commit — when something is being offered, but the real terms may not yet be obvious.
Best for
New offers, invitations, decisions, changes of direction, beginnings and situations where the opportunity looks attractive but you want to see the ground more clearly before stepping in.
What it explores
The visible offer, the demand it places on you, what may be hidden in the small print and the likely character of the road if you enter.

The Ticket Check
15 min · 2 cards · £25Possible clarifier: The Signal at the Booth — used only if the offer or first move needs sharper confirmation.
The Entry Gate
30 min · 4 cards · £40Possible clarifier: The Stamp on the Ticket — for a final confirmation, warning or timing note if needed.
Wall of Death
For situations gathering speed, carrying too much pressure or starting to wobble.
Best for
Work pressure, unstable plans, emotionally charged decisions, overloaded commitments, or any situation where the speed itself is becoming part of the problem.
What it explores
Where the pressure is really coming from, how momentum is building, where the weak point lies and what helps you hold a safer line.
View the spread
The Pressure Line
15 min · 2 cards · £25Possible clarifier: The Loose Bolt — if the warning or instability needs more detail.
The Wall Ride
30 min · 4 cards · £40Possible clarifier: The Warning Light — used when the safer line needs sharper definition.
Ghost Train
Same track. Different scenery. For the problem that keeps returning in another form.
Best for
Repeated relationship dynamics, the same argument resurfacing, familiar disappointments, habitual reactions or any pattern that feels suspiciously like fate.
What it explores
The loop itself, what triggers it, what keeps you inside it and where a practical or emotional exit may begin.
View the spread
The Track and Exit
15 min · 2 cards · £25Possible clarifier: The Thing in the Dark — when a hidden trigger needs naming.
The Ghost Train Route
30 min · 4 cards · £40Possible clarifier: The Exit Sign — if the route out needs a more immediate instruction.
Dodgems
This is less interested in who is “the bad one” and more interested in where the collision actually happens.
Best for
Workplace tension, awkward friendships, relationship friction, family strain, competing motives and situations where everybody seems to be steering differently.
What it explores
Your direction, their direction, the real point of impact and what boundary, communication or braking distance may be needed.
View the spread
The Bump Point
15 min · 2 cards · £25Possible clarifier: The Spark Point — if the collision needs finer detail.
The Dodgem Floor
30 min · 4 cards · £40Possible clarifier: The Brake Pedal — when the boundary needs a clearer stop, slow down or move message.
Hall of Mirrors
For the point where performance, pressure and expectation have made it hard to tell which reflection is actually yours.
Best for
Identity shifts, people-pleasing, role fatigue, family expectations, survival modes and situations where you have become too accustomed to showing the version of yourself that keeps everything functioning.
What it explores
The public face, the private burden, distorted perception, the source of the pressure, what remains true underneath it and the direction back toward something more authentic.

The Hall of Mirrors
60 min · 7 cards · £70Up to three clarifiers may be used if needed: The First 30-Day Move, The Cost and The Warning.
Winter Quarters Refit
Not a pep talk. A repair map for when pushing harder has stopped being a sensible strategy.
Best for
Burnout, collapse of a plan, prolonged exhaustion, major disruption or the aftermath of a period where the old way of carrying things simply no longer works.
What it explores
What failed, what still holds, what needs retiring, what genuinely needs repair and what can realistically be rebuilt around.

The Winter Quarters Refit
60 min · 7 cards · £70Up to three clarifiers may be used if needed: The Hidden Drain, The Immediate Boundary and The Next Practical Step.
Traveller’s Gate
For the larger crossroads: when an old road has carried you this far, but the next threshold asks whether you intend to keep travelling it.
Best for
Major life changes, inherited family pressure, long-standing expectations, identity shifts and situations where staying the same now carries a cost of its own.
What it explores
The old road, the inherited load, the threshold itself, the fear around crossing, the cost of staying, the cost of moving and the first step that makes change concrete.

The Traveller’s Gate
60 min · 9 cards · £70Possible clarifier: The Road Sign — only where a final warning, confirmation or practical marker is genuinely needed.
